Films have inspired the names of so many things in the world. Even breweries in the United States realised what movie references can do, resulting in some of these companies naming their drinks after some legendary films.
Imperial Stout Trooper
The Stormtroopers from the Star Wars movies are so memorable that the New England Brewing Company in Connecticut decided to name their stout beer after them. Call it an inspiration or an ode, the Imperial Stout Trooper does sound very cool.
The Dogfather Imperial Stout
Originally brewed at the Laughing Dog Brewing Company in Idaho USA, this one is a dark beer that also retains the iconic ‘The Godfather’ font on its label, with an evident and hilarious twist in the name.
Pulp Fusion Blood Orange IPA
Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction formed the inspiration behind this citrusy IPA brewed by the Boulder Beer Company in Colorado. The word ‘pulp’ also worked in their favour because of the drink’s blood orange flavour.
The Last JED I.P.A
What a timely inclusion this is! Brewed by the Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company in California, this IPA is a smart word play on the much awaited next instalment of the Star Wars franchise.
Pursuit of Hoppiness Â
The Grand Teton Brewing Company in Idaho brews this ale, which is an obvious reference to ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’, the feel-good film that touched the hearts of audiences worlwide. If the beer is anywhere close to as good as the movie, we’re pretty sure it’ll be just as loved too
