Gone are the days of coming home and going through all the trouble of creating a cocktail just to be able to put your feet up and relax. It’s 2018, we’re looking for convenience and ease, and homemade bottled cocktails are the answer.

Bottled Chilli Margarita

Did someone say margarita AND chilli? Sounds like a plan for the coming weeks for me. You’ll need a large glass bottle for this and you need to have it in 1 or 2 weeks (if it lasts). So what are you waiting for?

What you’ll need:

  • 354 ml tequila
  • 177 ml chili liqueur
  • 236 ml Cointreau
  • 236 ml lime juice

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients into the bottle and mix well
  2. Serve on ice (Makes 8 servings)

Bottled Moscow Mule

Imagine getting home after a hard day’s work, craving a Moscow Mule or two and actually finding a couple of bottles in the fridge! Well, it could be this easy if you just followed this recipe. You can thank us later.

What you’ll need:

  • 60 ml vodka
  • 44 ml ginger syrup
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 50 ml soda

Instructions:

  1. Pour in the vodka, then ginger syrup, then lime juice and lastly the soda into the bottle
  2. Cap your bottle and consume within 2 weeks

Bottled Americano

Bitter but sweet, fizzy and refreshing, the carbonated Americano is the best of all worlds and it’s great for having handy right before a party. T Magazine credits Jeffrey Morganthaler of the Clyde Common, from whom this recipe was adapted.

What you’ll need:

  • 177 ml Campari
  • 236 ml sweet vermouth
  • 532 ml flat water
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • A carbonator

Instructions:

  1. Mix Campari, sweet vermouth and water
  2. Squeeze orange peels over mixture
  3. Add orange peels into the mixture and refrigerate overnight
  4. Take out the orange peels and pour the rest into the carbonator
  5. Do not overcarbonate, cap the bottle and serve within two days

The Broken Bike

Another Jeffrey Morganthaler creation, this cocktail is a take on the Italian classic Bicicletta. It’s the perfect summer drink and can be kept around for 2 whole weeks, which means, 2 whole weeks of partying.

What you’ll need:

  • 325 ml Cynar
  • 443 ml white wine, dry
  • 650 ml filtered water
  • 2 lemons, peeled in strips
  • A carbonator

Instructions:

  1. Mix Cynar, white wine and water
  2. Squeeze lemon peels over mixture to express oils
  3. Chill the mixture overnight
  4. Carbonate as per instructions next day
  5. Using a funnel, put mixtures into bottle and cap them

Bottled Manhattan

Now you can be a Carrie (let’s be real, we all wanted to be Samantha) right at home and without having to put even 1/4th of the effort. And this one fills up at least 6 bottles so you’re sorted for quite a while.

What you’ll need:

  • 3.5 cups Rye whiskey
  • 414 ml sweet vermouth
  • 12 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 354 ml filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Stir the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters and water in a large pitcher
  2. Using a funnel, pour the cocktail into bottles and cap them
  3. Chill bottles overnight before serving
