It can get difficult to pick which wineries to visit when heading off to the ‘Wine Capital of India’. Whatever your personal itinerary may be, we definitely recommend visiting these four wineries in the region and making the perfect boozy weekends out of your time there!

York Winery: York Tasting Room’s great interiors and picturesque views, of the lake on one side and surrounding hills on the other, enhance the experience of sipping on their award-winning wines.  You could also gorge on some scrumptious food with your preferred York wine at their Cellar Door Restaurant. Great staff and service also ensure you have a great time during your visit to this beautiful estate.

Grover Zampa: Relax at Grover Zampa, enroute Nashik from Mumbai. Grover Zampa vineyards are spread across 42 acres of land and the winery produces some of the best wines in the country. So, kick back and relax here in a contemporary setting, under an open sky and enjoy some great wine with your family and friends.

Vallonne Vineyards: Pamper yourself with some of the best French-styled wines from Vallonne, in their tasting room. A good restaurant and accommodation are also available for visitors. This first boutique winery to bring French-styled wines to the Indian scene, also conducts “meet-the-winemaker” sessions, where visitors enjoy the tour of the vineyards, the winery and engage in some wine-tasting. That sounds like a blast!

Sula Vineyards: This popular destination for wine-lovers offers guided tours of its acres and acres of vineyards and its wine-making process; a number of restaurants to dig into delectable dishes as well as a luxurious stay at Beyond by Sula. Of course, you cannot miss sampling Sula’s best wines at the winery’s extravagant tasting room.
