Drunk Games: 5 Fun Drinking Games Everyone Should Play

Drinking quietly but gracefully is not everyone’s gulp of drink. If you’re one of those who will never grow up; here’s a list:

Cup Swap: Each player needs two cups (one that’s full of alcohol and one that’s empty) and a spoon. Participants, or should I say drunkards, have one minute to transfer as much of their drink as possible from one cup to the other using the spoon. When the minute is up, you have to drink whatever’s left in the original cup. You win if you suck at this, if you get what we mean.

Medusa: Everyone sits on a round table with a ton of full shot glasses (or jello shots). Players initiate the game with their heads down on the table. On the count of three, everyone looks up and gazes at another player. If you find yourself looking at someone who isn’t looking back, you’re safe. If you find yourself looking directly into someone else’s eyes that are on you , you shout out “Medusa!” and take a shot.

Slip It In: Before your guests arrive, brainstorm a “slip it in” phrase for each person who’s coming to your party: This is a phrase that they’ll endeavor to “slip in” in order to chance conversation over the course of the night…but without anybody realizing it. Likely phrases: “I think you’d be in Hufflepuff” or “I hate the taste of coconut water” or “I’m going to stop watching Game of Thrones.”
If you use your phrase and five minutes go by without anyone noticing, you get to make everyone else a drink. If someone calls you out on using your phrase, you have to drink.

Bite the Bag: This is a hilariously fun drinking game to watch. Place a brown paper bag on the floor. A player must reach down and pick it up with his or her mouth. The only thing that is allowed to touch the floor is your feet, and the only thing that is allowed to touch the bag is your mouth. If someone fails they must take a shot or chug a beer. After every round, cut off an inch from the top of the bag and play again. This game is like limbo in reverse. How low can you go?

Straight Face: All players write sentences on small pieces of paper. What kind of sentences? Ones that are ridiculous or inappropriate; ones that anyone would struggle to read (or hear) while keeping a straight face. One at a time, each player will choose a slip of paper and attempt to read whatever is written on it without giggling or cracking a smile. If they fail, they have to drink.

Some of these games are legendary, and just never get old! Drink and play!
