Too Pretty To Consume: Flower Cocktails From Around India

Since I live alone in the city of dreams and also the one that crushes it, I am pretty basic. I don’t mind taking the metro in pyjamas and living on Maggi and Lays for a day. But I have no shame in admitting that I really like pretty stuff. So, obviously, pretty cocktails are my weakness. And if you glance through some of these gorgeous drinks from around the country, you will fall in love with them too.

Frangipani Martini by mixologist DK at Le Meridien, Gurgaon: For those who are too confused, yes, the same frangipani that comes in shower gels. Turns out those pretty petals make for a sweet looking, yet mean martini. It is made by infusing about 8 frangipani flowers in 60ml gin. They add 15ml vermouth before presenting it you and it’s an absolute treat for your eyes and souls.
