Tulleeho! and Man’s World came together to conduct a nationwide poll this year to give us a list of the top 50 bars of India. 136 bars from 12 cities were ranked on their menu, service and teams by over 200 bar and spirit industry experts. Mumbai came on the top with three of its bars in the top 5, and Bangalore and Jaipur made their mark with the 3rd and 5th rank respectively.

1. Aer, Mumbai

Located at the Four Seasons hotel in Worli, Aer is an epitome of luxury with its open-air dining experience. This fine-dining restro bar is popular for its high-end service, always accommodating off-the-menu food and drink requests from the guests. No wonder Aer received the first spot on the list!

2. Americano, Mumbai

Americano is located in Fort, Worli. This restro bar is known for its authentic Italian cuisine and delicious cocktail menu. The ambience is well-done, and their original cocktails are quite in demand. Guests can be spotted enjoying a glass of tequila-based ‘Worli Bird’ and vodka/gin-based ‘Malabar Cooler’ here.

3. Arbor Brewing Company, Bangalore

One of the most popular microbreweries in Bangalore, Arbor Brewing Company had to be in the top 5! Their cocktail and beer menu has people coming in from far and wide. Their signature cocktail ‘Arbor Gimlet’ and the beer ‘Smooth Criminal’ have gained quite a fanbase. It’s very difficult to find a table here on a weekend so whenever you plan to go, make reservations.

4. Arth, Mumbai

Arth is popular for its traditional take in the kitchen. This grandesque looking restro bar holds an extremely traditional kitchen, with no stove burners but chulhas and tandoors. The bar menu features imported premium liquor and Indian ingredient-inspired cocktails such as the delicious jaggery-based ‘The Western Ghat’ cocktail.

5. Bar Palladio, Jaipur

A bar from the city of Jaipur making it to the top 5 was surprising to a lot of people but not to any Jaipur-inhabitants. Bar Palladio’s royal and classy-looking ambience and hospitality are the talk of the town. Its cocktail specials, the original fruity Palladio Iced Tea and Helene, are popular among both the Indian and foreign guests.
