5 Bars Owned by Some Much-Loved Celebrities

Some celebrities enjoy the limelight and keep to their industries while others diversify into other interests. Take Ashton Kutcher and Priyanka Chopra, for example, who’ve built a reputation for funding some of the most successful companies in the world. So is it any wonder that the rich and famous have taken their love for wining and dining a step further by building bars of their own? Check out these 5 bars around the world that are owned by some extremely popular celebrities – and who knows, maybe you can spot them enjoying a glass or two!

1. Swan and Bar Bevy

The ‘Happy’ singer, Pharell Williams co-owns the Swan and Bar Bevy in the very exciting city of Miami. While Swan is a classy dining destination, Bar Bevy, which is on the upper deck, is a perfect place for some cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. The bar has been conceptualised on the idea of sustainability and sources ingredients from local markets.

2. The Polo Bar

Casual yet fine, The Polo Bar is the third project of the renowned fashion designer Ralph Lauren in the hospitality industry. The NYC bar is always fully-booked (so remember to make reservations in advance), and has a personally-curated menu. The whole vibe showcases bits of his personality, from the staff dressed in his designs to the menu serving his favourite delicacies. This is one of THE places in the city to sip the very best popular classic cocktails.

3. Saints and Sinners

Actor Channing Tatum’s Saints and Sinners is known for a wild and fun time around New Orleans. The place serves a variety of delicious seafood and offers a wide ‘wine and cocktail’ menu to order from. Not only this but the bar donates a part of its profits to charities worldwide. That’s a feel-good way to sin, right?

4. Pick 6ix

My boyfriend in a parallel universe, the rapper Drake, co-owns the recently opened sports bar Pick 6ix in Toronto. The reasonably-priced bar serves national and international craft beers on tap along with sake and cocktails, and has a raw seafood bar with dishes inspired from South American and Japanese cuisines. The place has a private room for Drake for whenever he visits, so there’s a high chance you might run into him if he’s in the city.

5. Ray’s

Ray’s is a dive bar in the city of New York which is co-owned by the hot actor/director/producer Justin Theroux. The bar does not have a set drinks menu and boasts a minimalistic decor. It is one of those places where you want to sit down for a drink at the end of a hectic day. There is one pool table to blow off steam apart from some friendly conversations to keep you occupied.
