5 Cocktails You Should Have On Your Wedding Menu

It’s time for your wedding and there are so many important decisions to make, reception kahan rakhna hai, bua ji ko station se kaun lena gaya hai and afterparty kis room me hai! And the most important but briefly discussed daaru for the cocktail night.

To help you take one of these intense decisions, Unsobered appointed someone to write this listicle. Here you go,

1. Long Island Iced Tea

Just have this on the menu to do a favour to everyone present at your wedding. One of you might feel the need to calm your nerves and an LIIT is the perfect cocktail to help you with that. A few sips and you will start to feel slightly buzzed.

So, have a sip of an LIIT everytime annoying aunties and weird cousins get overbearing or if the baraat is late.

2. Champagne Mojito

There will be aunties looking to drink who have never really had a peg in their lives. You need to have a champagne mojito to please and also keep these ladies in check. We don’t want them getting paranoid or freaking out after downing a strong drink now, do we?

Something for everyone, that’s the goal!

3. Espresso Martini

You will have to make sure your Kumbkaran friends and a few of your ‘always tired’ relatives don’t fall asleep after dinner. Make sure the wait staff keeps serving an espresso martini to each one of them once every 1.5 hours.

Coffee, always, to the rescue!

4. Daiquiri

This is for all the legal but underage cousins who have been requesting you to have everyone treat them with age and respect by ignoring their alcohol intake at this wedding. You need to be their idol, have this daiquiri for those sweet buggers.

5. Hemingway Champagne

Also known as Death In The Afternoon (morbid, we know), you need to have this glass of champagne mixed with absinthe at the bar to either help yourself when you need courage to call out a sexist tradition or if you want to call the wedding off for whichever reason.

See, we have you covered for worst case scenarios as well…
