Tom Holland Unable to Buy His Own Beer at Target

Tom Holland

Tom Holland, 28, shared the amusing incident on social media, leaving fans in splits. He recently faced an unexpected hurdle when he tried to purchase his own non-alcoholic beer, Bero, at a Target store in the US. The store refused to sell it to him because his English ID wasn’t considered valid proof of age.

Why Was He Denied?

Although non-alcoholic beer typically contains little to no alcohol, many US stores still enforce age restrictions, and without a valid US-issued ID, even Spider-Man couldn’t make the purchase. Without a US-issued ID, Holland was unable to complete his purchase.

Legal Restrictions on Non-Alcoholic Beer

US laws regarding non-alcoholic beer vary by state and retailer. Some stores require customers to present a valid US driver’s license or passport as proof of age, even for beverages with minimal alcohol content.
