After exploring a few of the hottest bars in Bandra and Lower Parel, it’s time to explore some of the most expensive bars of Mumbai located in Worli. We’re talking about, you guessed it right, AER and Slink & Bardot! We decided to try out some of the most unique and talked about cocktails being served at these cocktail bars to see if they really live up to their hype.
AER, Worli: Rooftop Indulgence And Decadent Cocktails
AER is a luxurious rooftop bar hanging on the 34th floor of the grand Four Seasons Hotel in Worli. The rooftop bar is one of the most popular cocktail bars in India, in fact, it ranked 17th among the Top Bars of India in 2024. Now that we had heard a lot about AER and the hype revolving around it, we had to visit and see what was in store.
To begin with, the rooftop location of AER and the expansive Arabian Sea makes it the perfect spot for a sundowner in Mumbai. The sunset views here are unmatched as you take in the gorgeous view of the Mumbai skyline. Pair it up with foot-thumping music, good food, and even greater drinks – this is what builds the hype trail around AER.
Cocktails We Tried At AER’s Rooftop Bar
We quickly got our hands on AER’s cocktail menu draws inspiration from various sky conditions like clear skies and thunderbolts, and the bar has tried to capture that essence in every drink. Here are all the drinks we ordered:
Flagship: A hearty twist on the Pina Colada featuring Plantation Dark Ru, Disaronno Almond, White Chocolate, Coconut, and Pineapple.

Azure Dawn: Ketel One Vodka, Pandan, Honey Dew, Coconut, Cantaloupe
This drink draws inspiration from a blue horizon, perfectly capturing the essence of the tropics.

Torrential Jungle: 400 Conejos Mezcal, Grapefruit, Mint, Champagne, Tonic Water
This drink perfectly captures the essence of the Indian monsoon and is a vibrant drink with a dash of smokiness.

Starry Night: An elegant highball drink made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, spicy honey, pineapple, lemon, and ginger beer.

Lightning Fury: Remy Martin cognac, Kraken rum, espresso liqueur, roasted spices, candied orange, fire.
A warm, elegant, and boozy drink that is perfect for a cold, rainy or wintery day.

We especially loved the Flagship – what we liked was its spirit-forward take on the classic Pina Colada. We also loved the warmth of the Lightning Fury that reminded us of a classic hot toddy.
Cocktails We Tried At Gimlet Garden
We then moved to the other side of the spacious AER – their Gimlet Garden, where we got our hands on the special AER by Stranger & Sons Gin. A speciality of this gin is that it has been exclusively crafted for the Four Seasons Mumbai’s rooftop bar! The gin is infused with flavors of kokum, tamarind, and mangosteen, perfectly capturing the spirit of the Mumbai Sea.

Slink & Bardot: Mix Of Cultures And A Tribute To The Koli Community
After a wonderful time at AER, we decided to visit Slink & Bardot located in Worli Village. The bar ranked 20th among the Top Bars of India in 2024. Enter the bar and you’ll be taken aback by its Persian-inspired decor and the old French movies that play here almost everyday.
In addition to its classic and innovative cocktails, Slink & Bardot features a special menu, ‘Tales from the Shoreline’. It pays tribute to Worli Koliwada’s local community, the coastal spirit, and the vibrant coastal flavors.
Cocktails We Tried At Slink & Bardot
Koli Echoes: The bar manager, Mayur Tanpure, was kind enough to make us one of the bar’s signature drinks, the Koli Echoes. It consists of sake, vodka, and fresh green botanicals served in a sake carafe with shot glasses. It is garnished with frozen lychee and makes for the perfect drink to enjoy with your drink squad!

Meloma: This drink is a quirky take on the Paloma, prepared using tequila, mezcal, and Japanese melon seltzer.

Not Alfonso: This drink uses a local ingredient called ‘mango ginger’ that pairs delightfully well with whisky, honey, mint, and clarified milk.

Coast Guard’s Brew: A delicious drink made using Ketel One Vodka, ghee, coffee foam.

Aeropress Negroni: Can anyone go wrong with a classic Negroni and some aeropress coffee?

We truly thought that the Koliwada Echoes was a standout, mainly because of its taste, preparation, and presentation. Besides, we also recommend trying the Aeropress Negroni if you too would love to try a coffee and Negroni concoction.
