Oh baby, The Little Door was just a-ma-zing! Choosing this restro bar for Unsobered’s first Drunch review is one of the best decisions I have made in my life! A great afternoon spent drinking and dining, watching people sing in style, and me singing along old classic just made the entire day!

The concept is simple. The Little Door has three Drunch packages to offer to its guests along with an afternoon of fun Karaoke. Starting at 12 pm on Sundays, all the packages offer a five-course meal, which consists of a salad bar, entree items, starters, main dishes and a yummy dessert bar, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages which you can choose from their appetizing Drunch food and bar menu. The packages involve unlimited servings.

Even though the food menu is exactly the same for the three packages, they are priced differently because of the alcohol offered in each package.

Package 1 – Priced at Rs. 1299 (excluding taxes), offers Beers, Red Wine Sangrias, Non-Alcoholic Beverages and Food

Package 2 – Priced at Rs. 1699 (excluding taxes), offers IMFL, Cocktails, Beers, White Wine Sangrias and Food

Package 3 – Priced at Rs. 2099 (excluding taxes), offers Semi-premium Alcohol and Food

My friend and I settled for Package 1. We arrived at The Little Door at 12:15 pm and found the staff ready to accommodate us. In 20 minutes, the place had more than fifteen other people on its property. We made our way to the salad bar, which had a wide variety of options laid out in front of us.

I happened to fall in love with their pineapple cheese skewers and sweet potato salad. My friend really liked the chicken sausages.

After some light-hearted banter, we ordered a serving of Go Nuts Pancakes and PB&J French Toast. Guys, ever since then, I have been craving The Little Door’s pancakes! They were so soft and so good!!

We ordered a beer and a red wine Sangria. The beer was a standard Kingfisher Premium but I didn’t like the Sangria. The wine tasted way too cheap and the plastic wine glasses were off-putting.

The place was packed by now and the music got everyone on their feet. We placed an order for a serving of greek-seasoned fries Patatas and cheese cigar rolls Sigara. The service was prompt, with our order being delivered in five minutes.

My taste buds couldn’t fancy Patatas but Sigara was a great eat. It was cheesy inside, crunchy on the outside and the light taste was addictive.

We ordered another beer and a non-alcoholic peach beer. The peach beer was heavenly delicious! I could just sip on this drink for the entire day. All this while, my friend had me take a vow that I would bring him to every Drunch from that day onwards.

Next, we ordered a serving of tequila-flavoured BBQ’d chicken – The Kabob and a few slices of the Greek Sesame Pizza. I ordered a Watermelon Basil Cooler just for this article. The Kabob was decent but we were still hung over Sigara. The pizza was thin-crust and didn’t feel very heavy, which was perfect!

The place looked over-crowded by now, but over-crowded in a very good way. People were moving in and out, they were singing along old classics like Uptown Girl and new hits like Uptown Funk. Everyone seemed to be cheering the one singing and the whole place seemed like a private party event where everyone was friendly-hearted.

After a long wait, our main dish arrived – Vegetarian’s Steak. By now, we were so full that we gave up after a few bites. But this did not stop us from gorging on desserts. My friend picked up a piece of each dessert item and we made sure to taste all of them!

To conclude it all, going for a Drunch at The Little Door is not to be missed out on! The food is delectable, the starters more than the main dishes but delectable all the way. The service was polite and prompt, and the Karaoke was the highlight of this fun outing.
