Beefeater gets an eco-friendly makeover

These past few years the attention of many liquor companies has been drawn to the question – how do we make our practices more eco-conscious. Following suit in this shift is the ever-popular Beefeater whiskey that has taken a 180 degree approach to their packaging.

Their new packaging is a lot friendlier to Mother Earth – with a bottled made fully off recycled glass. They’ve also switched out their plastic bottle caps to embossed aluminium ones and their previous labels made of PVC have been switched to paper labels. The reputed brand claims that these changes will help them save 410 tonnes of plastic every year!

The gin bottle has also been redesigned keeping in mind its useability for bartenders and its overall appearance. This approach to sustainability and user-friendliness has garnered a lot of appreciation from consumers and bartenders alike.

Thanks for taking your steps to sustainability and helping the planet be cleaner, and our spirits be ‘higher’, Beefeater! We can’t wait to see your new packaging in person.
