Bombay Sapphire Launches A Canned G&T

Bombay Sapphire, the second-best selling gin brand in the world has expanded its product portfolio by introducing a canned G&T in the ‘ready-to-drink’ product category recently. Launching the alcoholic beverage in the UK market first, the popular Bacardi-owned gin brand aims to capitalize on the consumer’s growing demand of convenient alcohol offerings.

In 2019, the RTD (ready-to-drink) category was concluded to be the fastest growing category in the UK’s alcohol market owing to the hectic lifestyles of the consumers. In such a market, the launch of the canned G&T by the premium Bombay Sapphire gin became the talk of the town for its premium product’s bar-standard flavour profile.

The canned G&T is a blend of vapour-infused London Dry gin and tonic water, and does not contain any artificial flavours or colours. The brand has ensured the best quality and taste by using the highest quality of ingredients in the G&T’s production process. The can’s matte packaging has been specifically-designed to protect the contents from sunlight, aiding in maintaining the temperature and freshness of the beverage.

Bombay Sapphire’s G&T comes in a 100% recyclable can and is best enjoyed when served chilled over ice with a dash of fresh lemon juice in it. The 250 ml can is packaged at 6.5% ABV and is priced at £2.80. For now, the product is available at Ocado with a plan to have distribution across retail stores in the coming months.

I hope to see the canned G&T hit the Indian market shelves because when it does, I know it will be a huge success! What do you think?
