One of the eight finalists of Brown-Forman AWLCC 2020 is Arati Mestry, who holds the position of Assistant Manager at Byg Brewski, Bangalore. Having competed in Campari Bartender Competition ASIA and Monkey Shoulder’s Ultimate Bartender Championship in the past, Arati is not new to the world of competitions.

Arati entered AWLCC with two original creations – Skosh and Poppy. While ‘Skosh’ is an interesting output of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, fresh orange juice, homemade salted caramel and dark chocolate and peanut butter-covered orange peel, ‘Poppy’ is a fine blend of Gentleman Jack, homemade blackberry syrup, lemon juice and smoked rosemary.

A promising cocktail amongst many at the competition, AWLCC 2020 will honour the top 8 finalists by featuring their cocktail recipes in Jack Daniel’s Cocktail Booklet ‘Original Recipes From India’s Finest Mixologists’. On the other hand, the winner will be offered an all-expense paid trip to the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky and Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee in the USA. The winner will also get to attend BCB in New York!

Unsobered wishes good luck to all the finalists and awaits the winner of Brown-Forman American Whiskey Legacy Cocktail Challenge 2020, India.
