SelvaRey Rum – Bruno Mars’ rum brand that he launched with Marc Gold, Seth Gold and Robert Herzig in 2014 – is seeing a comeback and how! The brand was relaunched in November 2020 with a makeover to its design and a global campaign. And it’s working if their newest release is anything to go by.
Released just last weekend, SelvaRey’s top rum Owner’s Reserve was listed on Reserve Bar’s website and to no one’s surprise, sold out in just two hours!
The Owner’s Reserve is made from a fine blend of rums aged between 15 and 25 years and is called ‘a vacation in a glass’ by American singer and owner of the brand – Mars. The single estate rum that’s distilled in Panama is priced at USD 150, making it just a tad more unattainable. If you do want to get your hands on this epic rum you’ll have to sign up for a very long waiting list on their website. Meanwhile, you can try out their chocolate-flavoured rum and white rum priced at USD 34.99 and USD 29.99 respectively.
