Founded by Anshuman Vohra in 2007 in the US, Bulldog London Dry Gin is available in more than 100 countries today. Early on, Vohra realised there was a gap in the market which he could fill with the introduction of an ultra-premium gin. Thus, Bulldog London Dry Gin was conceptualized and is what it is today!
Vohra wanted a smooth gin that could be used to make standard G&Ts along with other cocktails when the recipe called for it. He partnered with a known gin distillery in the UK to work on the recipe. The partnership resulted in the final 12 botanicals which were selected to create Bulldog – Spanish lemon and almonds, French lavender, German angelica, Turkish white poppy, Chinese dragon eye, lotus leaves and liquorice, Italian juniper and oris, cassia from Indo-China and coriander from Morocco. The combination of these botanicals added a distinctive aroma to the gin, resulting in a well-balanced character.
In 2014, Bulldog London Dry Gin partnered with Campari Group for global product distribution. This made the gin globally available, with its presence in more than 55 countries. It gained popularity across the globe and was acquired by the Campari Group in 2017. Since then, Bulldog has its distribution channels in over 100 countries, with new nations being added to the list.
The gin carries an independent aura which is conveyed by its name and design. The bottles are designed to communicate the gin’s modern character, contemporary style and luxury attitude.
