Ever wondered what goes into your wine and if it’s truly organic? Well, acclaimed actress Cameron Diaz and fashion entrepreneur Katherine Power did. And they went a step further to share their finds with us and fix the situation with a wine brand of their own!

Attempting to bring more transparency to the ingredients that do go in wine making, Diaz and Power have launced two wines under the name Avaline. One being a Spanish white made in Penedes, Spain with a mix of Macabeo, Xarel · lo and Malvasia – the wine is meant to be crisp and dry and provide the aroma of stone fruit and citrus.

The Rosé, on the other hand, is made in Provence with organically made Cinsault, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Caladoc. The Vin de France is said to have notes of melon and zest and have a light, refreshing taste.

During their conversations about wine, the duo discovered that most wine gets its taste from over 70 additives and prompted them to make their own clean wines with pared back labels that were easier to understand. The resulting two wines are not only organic but also vegan-friendly, non-GMO, gluten free and have zero additive sugar.

With a pretty conservative pricing of USD 24 per bottle, this is definitely on our most-wanted wine list!
