Chateau Miraval – A Jolie-Pitt Wine Venture

There was a time when stalwarts of the film industry chose to keep investing their hard-earned money into the field itself but now, they have been looking to pursue other profitable passions. Popular actors like Antonio Banderas and Drew Barrymore have been successful in making their space in the spirit market by launching their own wine labels in the past. Other professionals from the entertainment industry followed suit, including the ex-power couple and movie stars, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

When the two breath-taking stars were a happy couple, they invested in a grand property in France. The estate acted as a summer house for the husband-wife and their six children, while also running the Chateau Miraval winery throughout the year. To walk on this journey, Jolie-Pitt partnered with the respected winemaker Marc Perrin.

To begin 2020 on a sparkling note, Chateau Miraval has decided to introduce a Rosé champagne in the market. In a statement, Perrin described its taste to be bold, explaining that it was a result of using pressed grapes in the production process. This rosé champagne will be produced by implementing ancient methods of winemaking that are still practiced in the regions of Loire, Rhone, and Napa Valley.

Last year, Jolie and Pitt came together to launch six-thousand bottles of Miraval Rosé 2012, which sold out in a matter of five hours! The wine wowed the enthusiasts and they described it as highly aesthetic, offering notes of wild strawberries, raspberries and candies.
