We have another craft beer in the market, and this time around someone has imprinted the raw emotions of Indian citizens into a beer label. We have a new beer in the city of Mumbai which is making beer lovers say, “Kya Kadak cheez hai ye boss!”.
Presenting Kadak Beer, a craft beer founded and owned by three beer experts – Ishan Grover, Amit Mishra and Mayank Shekhar. Bringing excellent expertise as an entrepreneur, brewmaster and a hospitality professional, the trio have handcrafted the brew in Mumbai itself!
To start off, we have a Kadak Hefewiezen. It is a German-style wheat beer that is brewed from the choicest of malts and hops, flaunting a creamy texture and notes of banana, clove, bubblegum and freshly-baked bread.
There is Kadak Kölsch, a hybrid beer that is fermented with ale yeast. Heavy on the lager-feel, the aromatic beer offers refreshing fruity and biscuit-like flavours.
A beer with less alcohol content than your regular IPAs, Kadak Session Pale Ale is a flagship beer of the brand. Each sip packs fresh notes of pine, tropical fruits, biscuits and toasted grains, and a citrusy aroma.
Another offering of Kadak, Finch Cloud Black – Nitro Stout is a full-bodied black nitrogen-infused dark beer which is brewed from Magnum hops. The beverage boasts a dense silky texture, and addictive roasted-coffee and dark chocolate flavours.
A delicious reincarnation of Witbiers, Finch Wizard of Wit – Belgian Wit is a refreshing crispy beer that offers a gratifying malty-sweet grain flavour and an aroma of orange peels to the drinker.
The delectable Finch Pip ‘n’ Peel – Apple Cider is brewed from Himalayan apples. This wild yeast-fermented apple juice packs the sweetest and mildest flavours, bringing a boozy apple treat, straight from the foothills of the Himalayas, to your palate.
With these six beer offerings, Kadak is on a mission to bring Indian craft beers to the bellies of the world’s biggest beer enthusiasts in time. Currently, you can sit down with a Kadak beer at selective Mumbai joints like Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden in Bandra, The Finch in Powai, Global Quarters in Vikhroli and The Beer Cafe in Malad, Powai and Churchgate apart from other outlets.
Seems like India is going down as the ‘land of craft beers’ in history! What do you think?
