Effingut Launches A New Beer!

There isn’t one craft beer enthusiast in Maharashtra who hasn’t enjoyed a few fresh brews at one of the Effingut outlets! With five establishments spread over Pune and Mumbai in the state, the brew house has become the talk of the cities ever since its launch in 2014.

With a passion to offer great beers over delicious bites, Effingut has made a name for its unconventional brew experiments and delectable multi-cuisine food. Whether you want a cider, mead or a beer, Effingut will always have around eight brews on tap to offer to you.

While their Strawberry Cider, Peach Ginger Mead and Dunkelweizen have already created a loyal consumer-base, Effingut never ceases to bring in new brews to beer enthusiasts in the cities. Walking on this path, the brew house launched a delicious new beer on 4th February of this year.

New Zealand IPA, a golden-coloured beer with a fruity flavour profile, is a collaboration between Effingut and brewer Carl Rose from the renowned Colorado-based Left Hand Brewing. Taking inspiration from his travels in India, Rose has brewed this tropical beer that complements the country’s weather at all levels.

The IPA is brewed from two of the most popular hop varieties of New Zealand – Motueka and Nelson Sauvin. Motueka hops, which are popular for their tropical fruit and citrus flavors, have provided the beer with its appreciative fruity flavours and aroma while the Nelson Sauvin hops contributed a zesty white wine flavour and aroma to it.

Looks like Effingut is going to make our February with the launch of its New Zealand IPA. If you happen to drop by its Bandra outlet this weekend, you will find me surrounded by a few brew mugs and some great bites from their kitchen!
