What started as a prank on April Fool’s in 2018, became a very premium product this year when Elon Musk launched Tesla Tequila.
The lightning bolt-shaped bottle costs a whopping USD 250 and almost immediately after being released online, sold out! Yes, that’s how happy Musk fans were to see this liquor being launched.
Tesla Tequila (Elon Musk wanted to initially call it Teslaquila) is a small-batch tequila made from 100% de agave tequila anejo from highland and lowland agave that are sustainably sourced. The website also states that the liquor is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels and has a light vanilla and dry fruit nose with a cinnamon pepper finish.
Well, we can only imagine what the taste is like considering the hefty price tag and it being sold out everywhere.
