I have been a huge fan of books all my life. As I started adulting, I found a new love, and it was booze. Now they both go hand in hand. There’s something so exquisite about drinking a glass of wine and reading poetry, and sipping on scotch on rocks while reading a thriller. It’s just how it’s supposed to be. So imagine being in a bar which has a huge library. I would look so much better passed out in a library arm chair than in a club.

Thoroughly inspired by the stunning fantasy lands from fairy tales, this bar has the perfect ambience for a book enthusiast with a keen interest in magical stories. Although the team isn’t very enthusiastic about books, this is the dream bar for any bibliophiles!

A breathtaking library by a circular fireplace filled with of classics and best sellers, palatial interiors and a ‘book butler’ who will bring titles to your room so you can order booze (and books) from your room and never leave it, the Common’s Hotel and their bar has taken the game to a new dimension! Why didn’t anyone think about this before?
Electric House, London
This club is an exclusive space within the high-street Soho House, and I envy anyone who has access to it. In their words, they mix cocktails with chapters from 1984 by George Orwell. I am intrigued. Also, what crazy interiors. I could live here!
