‘Wine in a recyclable can’, something innovative that we must embrace in 2022!

Fratelli Wines, one of India’s top wine producers launched their range of vegan, gluten-free wines in recyclable cans back in 2020, called TiLT. A lot of you might not be aware of the fact that at times, during the ‘fining process’ of the wine, animal products such as gelatin is used to stabilise the wine. Hence, mentioning that the wine is vegan is crucial for attracting consumers who are vegetarians or vegans.

Available in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Goa, Lucknow, Aurangabad, Faridabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Darjeeling as well as Siliguri, TiLT is a range of wines that is elegant with a soft finish and ripe plum flavour palate. It is important to note that at 11% ABV, TiLT is a range of low alcohol wines.

TiLT offers 5 variants in its range- red, white, bubbly, bubbly rosé and NOI spritzer in sleek,  and easy to carry and store 250ml world-class, aluminium can packaging, which as a concept, might be relatively new in India but is quite popular in the United States! After all, when convenience is paired with indulgence, it’s a win-win for consumers who prioritise both. These single-serve cans are designed for consumption at house gatherings, nights-in or on the go. TiLT promises the same original wine flavour and buzz without the additional worries of having to store the wine back properly to minimise oxidisation or making a mess of the glass bottles!

However, Fratelli Wines isn’t the first in the “Wine in Can” segment in India as Sula Vineyards launched Dia-In-Can Bubblies, their range of off-dry, slightly sweet canned bubblies with just 8% ABV right before Fratelli Wines. So, when you look at the alcohol industry as a whole, Fratelli Wines might lead the market for “Wine in Can” in India, given it offers an ABV that’s more acceptable when you consider fine wine and its experience.
