The famed Manchester Gin makers Spirit of Manchester Distillery have announced the launch of their very first rum. And let us tell you – it looks promising!
The One-Eyed Rebel Rum has a beautiful stand-out bottle which features a brass band that mimics old rum barrels. The spiced botanical rum contains ginger and cassia and is bottled at 40% ABV. It is crafted and distilled in the heart of Manchester and hopes to get the most out of all the flavours that the spirit combines
This comes hot on the heels of their Manchester Spirit Vodka release last year and they used all that they have learnt from distilling gin over the years to create their forays into different spirits. We’re very excited to see what’s next for Manchester Spirits and hoping they make a journey to India soon.
Currently, the rum is available only in the UK at retailers or directly from the Spirit of Manchester Distillery. It’s priced at 28 pounds for a 70 cl bottle.
