Glenmorangie Sonoma-Cutrer Reserve whisky is their latest offering that comes with a really cool background. Not only are there only a 1000 bottles of it in existence, it was also created through an experiment that has the possibility of never being done again.
The Director of Whisky creation Dr Bill Lumsden described the whisky to have aromas of carnations and roses along with flavours of vanilla, mandarin and pears. Distilled 10 years before being finished for 15 years in prized Chardonnay (Sonoma-Cutrer) casks, this is a truly unique tiny batch of whisky that is subtle but bold and creamy according to Lumsden.
They will be releasing this only through the Moet Hennessy Private Client team.
