Indian alcohol enthusiasts are moving on from their tried and tested (and tasted!) spirits to embrace all the alcohol this world can brew, ferment and distill. With the public welcoming gin with all their glasses, even Indian entrepreneurs are taking a step into the industry by distilling craft gins in the country.
To celebrate the old and newfound love for gin, Food Talk is back with its third edition of Gin Explorers Club. The festival is India’s biggest gin fest that invites enthusiasts from all over the country to explore and cherish the spirit.
Being held on 22nd and 23rd February at One Golden Mile in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, the two-day celebration will see a fine selection of domestic and international gin labels along with delicious bites from popular Delhi restaurants. Pop-up gin bars will lure you in to try ten labels namely Jaisalmer, Hendrick’s, Monkey 47, Caorunn, Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray, Greater Than, Beefeater and Gordon’s. While you enjoy a G&T and some delicious gin-based cocktails, you will be entertained by live music performances at the venue.
If you aspire to take your love for the spirit further, make sure you attend tasting sessions and workshops with your fellow attendees and enthusiasts.
The party will begin at 12 pm and will go on till 10:30 pm on both the days. You are required to buy a pass to enter the venue which you can grab for INR 400 onwards. Keep in mind the legal drinking age in Delhi – you are required to be of or over 25 years of age to make the most of the Gin Explorers Club!
