The first rum to be released by Penrhos Spirits is a small-batch, farmed spirit that’s made from honey sourced from the Penrhos Farm. And it sounds delish!
Paying ode to the bees in their apiary that make the production of their spirits possible, their first rum is already set to be a hit. It is infused with lemon and orange peel and spices like allspice, nutmeg, clove, peppercorns and cinnamon along with their own honey.
A 5cl bottle of Penrhos Honey Spiced Rum and their Ginger Beer is available in a special kit alongside portable bee revival kits from Beevive for GBP 15. So not only is your money going to a lovingly crafted rum but also in helping keep the world’s bees alive.
Launching on April 30 2021, Penrhos Honey Spiced Rum will have an ABV of 37.5%. Their 5cl bottle will cost GBP 5 and their 70cl bottle will cost GBP 37.50.
