White Rhino Brewing Co.

Have you heard of White Rhino Brewing Co.? Founded by Ishaan Puri in 2016, White Rhino Brewing Co has been successful in generating ever-increasing beer sales with the word-of-mouth marketing model!

With the brewery set up in Malanpur, Gwalior, White Rhino penetrated the Gurgaon beer market first. After a satisfactory launch and successful sales, the brewery started to receive inquiries from other parts of the country but it has been expanding its distribution channels slowly, with successful launches in Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore and the UK.

Ensuring a well-funded brewing process with no cost-cutting practices involved, White Rhino beers are considered to be the best craft beers in the market today. After all, the brewery was engineered in the US with bottling and kegging equipment manufactured in the Czech Republic. This makes White Rhino brewery at par with American and European breweries.

The brewing process does not involve the use of any extracts or artificial flavours but uses fresh ingredients to infuse the flavours into the beers. The brand ensures that its beers are matured for 2 weeks to 1 month, without involving the use of foam enhancers, finings, enzymes, stabilizers or preservatives. The brand uses German malts and imported hops from the US and Europe which gives the beers their fine flavour and smooth character.

White Rhino has three beers in the domestic market and two beers in the international market. The beers are tweaked a bit to appeal to international consumers with respect to design and flavour profile. The brand has a Belgian Wit wheat beer, a Lager and an IPA

The Belgian Wit is brewed from Indian rolled wheat and Himalayan coriander seeds, being bottled at 4.9% ABV. The Lager is brewed with 100% two row pilsner malt and matured for over a month to attain its perfect taste. It is bottled at 4.8% ABV. The IPA uses Ahtanum, Cascade, Mosaic and Styrian Goldings varieties of hops in its brewing process and is bottled at 6.3% ABV. The Lager and IPA beers are available in the UK markets currently. In India, the 330ml bottles of the beers are priced around INR 160.
