Right as Rumchata had introduced their new Rumchata Limon (which was a humongous success as you can tell), they hit a milestone that’s almost unbelievable – 50 million bottles sold.
Rumchata Limon made its entry into the US market in February selling over 45,000 cases of their 9L bottles. It did so well that it made it to a few Provinces of Canada not long after and was even selected as the Best American Cream by the 2020 World Drinks Awards.
If you’re not familiar with this new Rumchata member, here’s what you should expect – real dairy cream, vanilla and lemon flavours with Caribbean rum making an exquisite creme liqueur that’s just heaven to the sweet alcohol lovers.
Talking about this achievement, RumChata founder and master blender Tom Maas said, “When I started this company with my father a decade ago using a recipe developed in my kitchen, we never could have imagined this.” Neither can we but it’s very well deserved. We can now only hope that our pandemic is made a little bearable with RumChata Limon entering India soon.
