Supercooling Magic: Enabling Magic In A Glass

If you have been mesmerized by the sight of a chef indulging in skillful tricks while preparing your food and a bartender showcasing his/her talent with a shaker, you will most definitely want to see Supercooling Magic in action!

For starters, supercooling (also known as undercooling) refers to the process of lowering the temperature of a liquid/gas below its freezing point without it turning into solid. In such a state, when the liquid comes in contact with a solid item like a spoon or an olive, it freezes right in front of your eyes.

Without a doubt, this supercooling effect was going to wow the public worldwide and on this account, bartenders are using the technique to make their cocktails a pleasant spectacle in different parts of the world now.

Fujisakura, a Spanish company dealing in the distribution of Bluefin Tuna has created the world’s first purpose-specific supercooling machine that can keep liquids into a stable supercooled state. Using state of the art Japanese technology, the machine preserves the liquid properties of purified and distilled liquids at -6°C, without altering the taste of it.

Supercooling machine is a type of kitchen appliance that is reliable and convenient to operate. Many bartenders are using the invention to create magical cocktails that hold an extremely high visual appeal. The Brooklyn-based Barely Disfigured cocktail bar uses Supercooling Magic to create their 50/50 Martini which is said to be the coldest Martini in the world. Paradiso, a speakeasy in Barcelona uses the invention to serve Super Cool Martini which was perfected over the course of five months with over 8000 trials. The Milan-located Nottingham Forest cocktail bar serves the machine to create its Potterverse-inspired Philosopher’s Stone Martini.

Making for an Instagrammable sight when used, Supercooling Magic is a sight out of a fantasy movie. A supercooling machine is priced at $3,900 and is manufactured on orders. Currently, around 10 machines exist on the planet at different bars and restaurants around the world. Upon making a purchase, the machine is delivered to your doorstep with the company covering the import customs and air transport charges.

Sounds pretty fantastical to me. What do you think?
