India’s leading men’s luxury lifestyle magazine Man’s World and the beverage education, training and consulting firm Tulleeho! conducted a nationwide poll where over 200 bar and spirit industry experts ranked 136 bars across 12 Indian cities. The bars were voted for in eight categories – Best Hotel Bar, Best Independent Bar, Best Microbrewery/ Taproom, Best Cocktail Menu, Best Bar Design, Best Bar Team and Best Bartender.
11 bars from Mumbai made the top 50 list. Here are the top 5 of those:
1. Aer, Worli

The fine-dining rooftop restro bar at the Four Seasons hotel is located on the 34th floor. With a wide city-and-sea view, and a menu offering delicious cocktails, Aer has become a popular nightlife destination in the city. It ranked No. 1 on the list of India’s 50 Best Bars.
2. Americano, Kala Ghoda
Americano has secured a place in the list because of its high-end service and a well-curated cocktail menu. The locals, usually the people of South Bombay, can be seen here chatting over cocktails from late evening to late night. Americano ranked 2nd on the list.
3. Arth, Khar
This multi-level contemporary-styled restro bar is a sight out of a grandiose movie set. The bar menu flaunts an exclusive list of imported premium alcohol and Indian ingredients-inspired cocktails. Arth ranked 4th on the India’s 50 Best Bars list.
4. Harbour Bar, Colaba
Harbour Bar is the first-licensed lounge bar of Mumbai, opening in 1933 at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. You can sip on exotic cocktails here with a relaxing view of ships and yachts sailing on the sea in front of you. Their signature cocktail ‘From the Harbour since 1933’ is quite popular among the guests. The bar ranked 16th on this list.
5. House of Nomad, Bandra
This chic gastro bar serves the best of Indian and International cuisines along with signature cocktails such as vodka and espresso-based – Espress Yourself. They also have a live sushi counter where you can stop by to taste ultra fresh and chef-original rolls. The House of Nomad ranked 18th on the India’s 50 Best Bars list.
