We all know Vera Wang as a world famous designer especially for her unique, dreamy wedding dresses. So when we heard she had made her foray into vodka, we were more than a bit surprised. Partnering with Polish brand Chopin, Wang has created a limited edition vodka called Vera Wang x Chopin.
The brand says that she herself selected a special kind of potatoes that have in the past never been used for commercially produced vodka. These sustainably grown potatoes were sourced from near Chopin’s distillery in Krzesk, Poland to create the gluten-free liquor.
Vera Wang said that the experience working with the Polish brand was so educational and informative that she would ‘never look at potatoes the same way again’ and Chopin mentioned how she was involved in the entire process of the vodka’s production.
The bottle, which is a fashionably monochromatic, will be available for pre-sale in the US on March 8 for a hefty price of USD 99. But since this is limited edition, comes from the best-selling vodka brand Chopin and is a partnership with iconic designer Vera Wang – it’s more than worth it.
