Wildcraft Beverage Launches India’s Strongest Apple Cider

To give us a taste of something brewed and better, husband-wife Mehul and Priyanka Patel co-founded Wildcraft Beverage to uphold the ‘craft’ in craft beverages. With an aim to offer a unique, experimentative and wild taste to the millennials in India, the duo and their team are focusing on brewing the highest quality of meads and ciders with little focus on the commercial aspects of the process.

Launched in the last month of 2019 in Mumbai, Wildcraft Beverage debuted at The Lil Flea in the city and The Cider & Mead Festival in Pune. The brand showcased its wide portfolio to the beverage enthusiast attendees, offering Mulberry, Mango, Mulled Grape and Coffee Orange Ciders, along with their signature beverage – Hard Apple Cider.

The Hard Apple Cider, which is branded as India’s strongest apple cider, is brewed from Kashmir-sourced apples and is priced at around INR 180 at retail stores. Already popular among cider fans, the beverage is a delicious alcoholic brew that is bottled at a little less than 9% ABV

While the Hard Apple Cider is commercially available in 330ml bottles at alcohol retail outlets and on tap at restro bar chains and independent restaurants, you can find the Mulberry and Coffee Orange ciders at selective restro bars.

To offer the best of flavours, high-quality fresh produce is sourced from various regions of India – mulberries from Mahabaleshwar, coffee from Karnataka and oranges from the state of Maharashtra itself. Since the beverages are brewed from fruits, the ciders are 100% vegan and gluten-free!

The Patels wanted to set up their own brewery, with the mission to establish a successful family-run company and brand in time. To begin the journey, they set up their own brewery in the town of Taloja, in the vicinity of Navi Mumbai.

For now, the brews are available in selective regions of Maharashtra and will be made available in Goa and Delhi by the end of 2020.
