This Bengaluru-based pioneer, known for putting India on the global liquor map, has crafted Bella, a rum made from nutrient-dense jaggery sourced from the Sahyadri range and Mandya in Karnataka. Aged for six years in ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, Bella is more than just a rum; it celebrates India’s rich cultural legacy and introduces an entirely new category of premium Indian rum.
Shri Mr. Neelkanta Rao Jagdale (NRJ), affectionately known as the Father of Indian Single Malt, played a visionary role in the origin of Bella. His profound appreciation for Indian heritage and culture provided the foundation for the development of Bella. In Kannada, ‘Bella’ means jaggery, and it is renowned as the first rum to receive a production license from the Excise Board of Karnataka.

This 100% jaggery-based single rum offers a unique tasting experience, starting with a nose that features an interplay of fruity notes, coconut, and vanilla, evolving into hints of marzipan and subtle citrus. On the palate, it reveals a combination of fruity, chocolatey vanilla, and green almond flavors, with a touch of citrus. The finish is sweet and almondy, making for a tempting sip.
Bella Is Available In India And USA
Bella was initially launched in Karnataka for INR 3,500 and is now available in the USA, West Bengal, Haryana, and Maharashtra.
