Bero Beer: Tom Holland’s Non-Alcoholic Brew Revolution

The heartthrob of Hollywood, Tom Holland, has proved his entrepreneurial skills with the launch of Bero Beer, a non-alcoholic brew that's taking the world by storm. After noticing limited choices for non-drinkers, Tom Holland decided to come up with a non-alcoholic beer that's just as enjoyable without the booze. With Bero Beer, he's succeeded in crafting a refreshing, flavorful drink that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you have never tried beer or are just looking for a healthier alternative, Bero Beer is the perfect choice. Here's everything about it that you should know.

Tom Holland’s Bero Beer

Bero Beer is a premium non-alcoholic beer brand co-founded by Tom Holland as part of his wellness journey. Bero is inspired by his roots in the UK and crafted in America, combining heritage and modern brewing innovation. This led to redefining what non-alcoholic beer can be, from rich and flavorful to fulfilling without any compromise on experience as well as quality. It was launched in 2024, on October 16.

Bero Beer: History

Bero Beer’s history begins with Tom Holland’s personal journey towards wellness and sobriety. This journey started in January 2022 with a “Dry January” challenge. It was meant to be a temporary decision, but soon became a life-changing decision as Tom started experiencing the benefits of a sober lifestyle.

During this, he actually realised that the market lacked non-alcoholic beers that offered both great taste and a premium experience. This inspired him to come up with Bero with John Herman. They aimed to offer a sophisticated, flavorful non-alcoholic beer that tastes just like traditional brews and also does not compromise on quality. The brand is a lifestyle choice for people who want balance without sacrificing enjoyment.

The brand identity has a crest inspired by Kingston-Upon-Thames, Tom Holland's hometown, and symbols that are related to his life experiences. The names of its variants or flavors are: Double Tasty, Edge Hill (his elementary school street), Kingston Golden Plis, and Noon (Tom and Zendaya’s dog).

Bero Beer: Taste and Texture

Bero Beer distinguishes itself with a unique brewing method that lets the beer ferment naturally. It is low enough to be considered non-alcoholic without stripping flavor.

This method preserves the layers of complexity, texture, and bold flavors that are lost in typical non-alcoholic beers. The beer's base is brewed at a higher temperature with a lighter alcohol potential, which results in a crisp, balanced, and flavorful beer experience.

The product line includes a Kingston Golden Pilsner with bright, crisp notes; an Edge Hill Hazy IPA with juicy, tropical fruit flavors and smooth texture; a Noon Wheat with the classic cloudy wheat beer citrusy finish, and a Double Tasty with bold and bitter taste.

How Is Bero Beer Made?

Bero Beer is made by using a unique brewing process that sets it apart from most non-alcoholic beers. Unlike the typical methods that brew regular beer and then remove the alcohol (often stripping away most of the flavor and character), Bero uses a special maltose-negative yeast.

This yeast ferments glucose (simple syrups) but also leaves maltose sugars untouched. Because of this, the fermentation process naturally stops once the alcohol reaches around 0.4%. The process keeps the beer non-alcoholic by legal standards.

This approach means Bero Beer avoids dealcoholization post-brewing and preserves what the brewmaster generally calls "the soul of the beer.” Because of this, the depth, texture, and bold flavor of the beer are maintained.

Bero Beer: Availability and Price

This product is primarily launched and retailed in the US with availability through online stores. The brand offers varieties in multi-packs such as 6, 12, 18, and 24 cans, as well as variety packs.

It is available on some Indian e-commerce platforms and importers like Desertcart and Ubuy. The pricing typically ranges around ₹3,000 to ₹3,500 for a 12-pack of 330 ml cans.

Summing Up

Tom Holland's Bero Beer reflects a lifestyle change. It is more of a movement towards moderation and mindful enjoyment, thus offering a modern non-alcoholic beer option with a complete premium appeal.
