1. Butterbeer

The all-time famous drink of our favorite trio, Harry, Ron. and Hermione is Butterbeer. If you’re a true fan of J.K. Rowling you must know, this drink first appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

You don’t need Fred and George Weasley to sneak into Hogsmeade to get a Butterbeer – you can make it yourself! Even though there’s beer in its name, this recipe has no beer in it. The spirit is vodka, and if you fancy sweet cocktails, this one will be your favorite as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce of butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 ounce of vanilla vodka
  • 6 ounces of cream soda
  • Whipped cream
  • Butterscotch syrup

How To Make Butterbeer:

  1. Take a frosty beer mug and add butterscotch schnapps, vanilla vodka, and cream soda into it.
  2. To give it that frothy look, garnish it with an ample amount of whipped cream.
  3. Now top it with butterscotch syrup drizzled over butterscotch whipped cream.

2. Polyjuice Potion

Even accomplished witches and wizards found brewing the Polyjuice Potion tricky. But Hermione brewed it to perfection in an abandoned toilet when she was merely 12! Did we jog your memory yet? Yes, Polyjuice Potion is the one that helped Harry and Ron assume the form of Crabbe and Goyle to sneak into the Slytherin Common Room.

If you too are planning to turn into someone different by the end of the night, you know what to do! We’ve made sure to replace the original taste (yuck) of this potion with a sweet citrusy one. This cocktail is fizzy and smooth and we’ve given the recipe for 8 servings so you’re obliged to share it with your friends.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces of white rum
  • 12 ounces of frozen limeade, thawed slightly
  • 3 drops leaf green gel food coloring
  • ½ tsp. silver luster dust
  • 15 ounces of tonic water
  • corn silk hair

How To Make Polyjuice Potion:

  1. Take a large bowl or pitcher and pour the rum, limeade, leaf green food coloring, and silver luster dust and whisk well until combined.
  2. Now you can add tonic water to this beautiful emerald green mix.
  3. For garnish, add corn silk hair and dry ice and you’ll see Polyjuice Potion come to life. (Please don’t add cat hairs. It doesn’t work. We’ve tried!)

The best part? Since you’re our best friends, we’ll not be stingy like Professor Slughorn and give you the recipe for 6 servings. Be cautious though, as too much of Felix Felicis will make you reckless, overconfident, and giddy unless that’s what you’re going for.

  • ¼ tsp. gold luster dust
