Budweiser’s latest limited edition venture pays its respects to the acclaimed and loved rapper – Notorious B.I.G. A limited number of cans have a hand drawn sketch of the artist along with the New York skyline and lyrics from his hit song ‘Unbelievable’.
The Christopher Wallace Estate (named after the real name of the artist) collaborated with Budweiser for this project to honour the hip-hop great who left this world too soon in a shooting.
His mother also gave her nod to the collaboration in her statement, where she said that she was honoured that the iconic beer brand Budweiser chose to highlight Biggie’s legacy through this gesture.
Not only are limited edition cans available till stocks last, Budweiser is also creating sweatshirts, T-shirts and sweatpants with the collab branding. They are also set to host a live concert featuring other legendary musicians like Lil Kim and Busta Rhymes. The concert will take place on August 19 at Prospect Park Bandshell in Brooklyn.
