Kingfisher Drinks Launches In The UK!

Kingfisher Ultra

Kingfisher Drinks – the global conglomerate in the alcoholic beverage industry, has turned its eyes towards the United Kingdom (UK). By launching its Kingfisher Ultra, the brand aims to strengthen its foothold in the lucrative UK market. The ‘Ultra’ version is a premium world beer with an Alcohol By Volume (ABV) of 5%. It is now available in supermarkets and convenience retailers.

Success Of Kingfisher In India

The Ultra version landed in the Indian market about 15 years ago. Today, it is one of the fastest-growing beer brands, with a compound annual growth rate of 20% between 2021-2023. United Breweries Limited (UBL), the manufacturer of Kingfisher products, claims that every alternate bottle of beer sold in India is a Kingfisher brand today. In its home base, the brand rose to a steady reputation by solidifying brand partnerships with premium festivals like Sunburn and various fashion shows. This resulted in an affluent consumer base turning towards the brand.

The brand took the Indian market by storm with a strong product to offer and crafting an experience that was unique to the brand. After establishing itself as a staple at premium occasions in India, the brand is now set to conquer the UK market. The company will directly import the drink from India, offering UK consumers a taste of India’s premium beer.

How Is Kingfisher Ultra Crafted?

The brewers craft the premium beverage using hand-picked malts. This has given it its distinct strong yet well-balanced profile. Kingfisher Ultra follows a brewing process of six-step filtration, and there are no additives to the drink. This gives the drink its premium look and an all-natural amber hue. The stylish glass bottle and sleek pull-crown lid only add to the premium look and feel of Kingfisher Ultra.

Kingfisher Ultra’s Launch In The UK Market

The much-anticipated launch of Kingfisher Ultra will see the drink being showcased in the UK’s finest Indian restaurants. On-trade outlets will contribute to support this exclusive debut – they’ll receive premium POS materials, including a 330ml glass and elegant rubber bar runners. This is to ensure a completely luxurious experience for its patrons.
