A festival that you can only attend when at the Mumbai airport is back for the 4th time to entice all whiskey enthusiasts to take a trip this season. Mumbai Duty Free’s Whiskey Festival is here to introduce flyers to national and international whiskey labels, which will include the very best of Taiwanese and Japanese whiskeys, such as Hibiki Select Led, among the others.
Make the most of delayed flights and all the waiting at Terminal 2 of the airport by getting yourself a bottle of a single malt or a blended scotch. And you have more to cheer about as premium labels like Johnny Walker, Glenfiddich, Chivas and Glenlivet are offering lucrative deals such as redeemable holiday vouchers and a 4-day Dubai trip to the lucky few of you. Premium award-winning Indian brand Amrut is also offering free distillery visits if you happen to win, and in our opinion, that alone is worth participating for.
Contests aside, attendees will also get the chance to taste some super-premium whiskeys such as Talisker 18 yo and The Singleton 18 yo. The festival will hold more than 100 whiskeys from all over the globe, out of which 40 will be the special and rare kind. There will be some limited-editions for you to splurge on as well like Macallan Select Oak, JW Double Black, Gentleman Jack, Jameson Irish and Jack Daniels Honey among others.
