Tilaknagar Enters Premium Whisky Market With Launch of ‘Seven Islands’ Pure Malt Whisky

Many people have unique interests, whether it's trying various cuisines, fashion styles, or types of beverages. If you're a fan of trying new liquors, you should check out the latest launch: Seven Islands Pure Malt Whisky. Tilaknagar Industries Ltd., a leading brandy producer in India and a rapidly growing spirits company, has launched this whisky as part of its new venture into the premium segment. Made from a blend of select Indian and Scottish malts, Seven Islands Pure Malt Whisky delivers an exceptional 100% malt experience.

Seven Islands Whisky offers a distinctive approach that goes beyond the recent trend of single malts in the Indian whisky market. This pure malt combines four single malts - two sourced from India and two from Scotland - each contributing unique traits from their respective distilleries and maturation methods.

The Indian single malts are derived from the Himalayan foothills and Vindhyan range, benefiting from high-altitude and tropical aging. In contrast, the Scottish malts are selected from the renowned regions of Speyside and the Lowlands. This blend creates a rich profile that highlights the diversity of two cultures, climates, and a sophisticated blending technique.

What To Know About The Design Of Seven Islands

Seven Islands whisky is named after the seven islands that used to make up Mumbai, where Tilaknagar Industries has grown over the years. The bottle design reflects this heritage, featuring a unique V-cut neck that symbolizes the blend of Indian and Scottish malts. The intricate lines on the bottle represent the shape of the original islands, while an anchor design pays homage to Mumbai’s maritime history. The color scheme of sage green, cream, and gold gives the packaging a fresh, modern, and premium feel.

Seven Islands marks Tilaknagar Industries's entry into this dynamic category, bringing together Indian craftsmanship and global expertise to create a whisky that is both distinctly Indian and globally competitive. With whisky commanding over 60% of India’s spirits market, expanding into this category was the next natural step for us."
