In 2011, the brand launched its signature strong beer, the Carlsberg Elephant, launched its Tuborg Classic with Scotch Malts in 2017, and established its new brewery in Mysuru, Karnataka, in 2018.

When it comes to the Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc, Carlsberg India launched the iconic French wheat beer in the first few months of 2025. In its debut launch in India, Carlsberg India hosted a vibrant event in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where it invited its partners and customers to join the celebration.
In Gurgaon, Haryana, the 330 ml variant of Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc retails for INR 200, whereas the same retails for INR 225 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It will be interesting to see how Karnataka’s excise policies shape the pricing of the 1664 Blanc in the state.
As the beer saw success in key markets like Chandigarh, Goa, and Maharashtra within just a few months of its launch, Tuborg India decided to introduce this beer to the state of Karnataka, already known for its vibrant beer industry.
