Indian rapper and singer Aditya Prateek Singh, who is better known by his stage name ‘Badshah,’ launched Shelter 6 on 14th November 2025. This is a premium Russian vodka brand that was launched in partnership with Cartel Bros.
According to Badshah, Shelter 6 has been launched to bring Indians the best vodka they can ever taste, at least in this price range. The vodka is priced at INR 1,999 for a 750 ml bottle and is available only in Maharashtra for now.
Talking about its very simple but unique name ‘Shelter 6’, we asked Badshah the reason behind this name.
To which he mentioned that Shelter to him feels like a warm, comforting word. The word reminds him of a big brother at any party, who starts the party, which is also a role that he strongly relates to, because someone once called him that. The reason behind number 6 in the name is that the spirit has been distilled six times to craft something ultra smooth.

The people who have tried vodka already know how amazing a spirit it is, but how do you explain that to a first-time drinker? Hence, we asked Badshah how he would describe this vodka to a first-time drinker, and his response was quite fun, short, and to the point. Badshah said, “Maza aa jaega,” which in English means “you will love it.” “ A good liquor is a part of having a good time, and Shelter 6 offers you exactly that,” says Badshah.
The Indian rapper and singer loves the fact that people call him the party starter, but we asked him to explain to us his relationship with parties. To this, he said that he is the one who brings people home for a party, he starts it, and goes to his bedroom to sleep.
