Olive Bar & Kitchen: Expensive shizz made popular by rich, spoilt Bandra people
Olive is where the crème de la crème of Bollywood goes to hang on a Friday. With glorious lighting and bloody good ambiance, this place is a fucking paradise! But, at least in my imagination, heaven had great food! I mean, I love good looking people in terrific clothes, but BC, why the fuck is my roast chicken worth 900 no good?
This place looks lovely. It has a bloody huge menu that freaks you out, and the crowd is fucking fantastic!
Placed in the heart of stupendously posh Union Park in Bandra, Olive is where half the entertainment industry chills. Their liquor menu is longer than their food and dessert menu put together (no kidding). Some of their cocktails taste awesome, but their awesomeness comes at a price of 1000 bucks a glass.
The lighting and ambiance in this place is really intimate and romantic. So, it’s advisable that you take someone with you ( don’t worry, your dog is a person too!) when you visit this place. Don’t be ashamed to ask them to split the bill.
Their food is only okay. And with that kind of price tags, if you eat there twice, I have two words for you: Rich Bitch! Their chaknas are for 400+. Come on, there are twenty other places within a vicinity of 500 meters which serve hella good food that this broke child can afford.
Olive needs to get their shit together when it comes to service. If you guys think letting your guest sit by a table with just water for good 20 minutes, you have got it all wrong. Even if I am there with my better half, food and drinks are still my preference. Honey Singh by the opposite table can distract me only so much.
Sure, it’s a great place to party with the stars. But that doesn’t make up for the fact that the food is mediocre and the bill could give you an instant heart attack!
