Potions Cocktail Theater is being conceived as a ‘cocktail theater’, where the art of mixology blends into performance art. Every drink is designed to be an emotional narrative, carrying its own story. The destination takes a detour from conventional bar settings and adds its own ‘theatrical’ twist to it.
Here bartenders are artists, emotions are themes, and cocktails are the ‘main character’ served with style. Potions has been designed to blur the traditional boundaries between a bar, stage, and dining room – emphasizing on a sophisticated experience through storytelling.
The cocktail program has been curated by industry professional Kamal Kohli. It has been built around emotional storytelling rather than simply presenting a set category of cocktails. The debut menu, touted as the ‘first season’ is titled “Love & Its Aftermath”. This bespoke menu will explore themes of love, infatuation, obsession, and deceit in modern relationships, with the cocktails being presented theatrically using nuanced techniques.

The food menu has also been designed to complement the cocktail theater experience. The menu features a curated selection of small and sharing plates. It offers a la carte selection that draws on European Mediterranean and traditional Indian flavors, including GI-tagged flavors prepared using live-fire cooking methods. Dishes include small plates, modern grill preparations, and tandoor-led offerings.

The experiential cocktail menu isn’t the only fascinating aspect of Potions. The ‘set design’ or the venue has been designed to be an experience in itself. The walls have a dramatic contrast of white and black and are softened with touches of greenery.
