This new launch is to mark the Lunar New Year 2026 and also to celebrate the brand’s 180th anniversary. With vibrant red gold packaging, this new edition is all set to celebrate the Fire horse zodiac sign with an aim to attract Asian customers. Dewar’s Double Double limited-edition Lunar New Year Whisky is celebrating the Fire Horse zodiac with attractive red packaging. The packaging has a vibrant red and gold palette featuring the dynamic leaping horse with a fiery, flowing mane and tail. The design and palette are inspired by the traditional Chinese New Year motifs. It beautifully symbolizes determination, passion, and excellence. The intricate detailing surely makes it a collector’s choice.
When you open the bottle of Dewar’s Double Double limited-edition whisky, you get ripe orchard fruits (apple, pear), creamy vanilla pod, and bright citrus zest on the nose. It then slowly evolves to warm cinnamon spice and manuka honey florals. This warmth simply mirrors the zodiac’s passionate energy.
The first sip of the whisky offers a nice velvety entry of baked toffee apple, orange marmalade, and malty biscuit. By mid palate, the drink brings polished oak, tropical pineapple, gentle coconut cream, and subtle heather smoke for dynamic balance.

This limited-edition bottle is available exclusively in global travel retail (GTR) starting December 2025 through the end of February 2026. The key Asian hubs with lead activities include Singapore Changi, Kuala Lumpur International, and Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. These airports have hosted immersive displays with LED glorifiers, red envelope gift boxes, and spinning wheels.

It is also available at major airports such as London Heathrow, Dubai Duty Free, Istanbul, Frankfurt, and Sydney. It is currently not available in domestic Indian retail stores.
Dewar’s Double Double Lunar New Year 2026 packs an alcohol by volume (ABV) content of 40%. This standard strength applies to all the limited-edition Fire Horse sleeves across all expressions.
