Sanjay Dutt’s The Glenwalk Expands: New Dominance Variants Enter The Market

The Glenwalk, co-founded by actor Sanjay Dutt and parent company Cartel Bros, has introduced new variants in Maharashtra. Called ‘Dominance’, these variants stand at about 48% and 43% alcohol by volume (ABV). Let’s take a look at these new variants, their product details, and flavour profile in this article.

New Dominance Variants By The Glenwalk

Flavor Profile & Packaging

The newly-launched ‘Dominance’ variants have been distilled in Scotland and bottled at origin. They follow established Scotch whisky production methods but offer a higher strength.

The new range includes three expressions bottled at 48% ABV which are aged for 7 years, 5 years, and 3 years respectively. The 7-year and 5-year variants have a distinct, more pronounced smoky character due to longer aging. On the other hand, the 3-year variant presents a cleaner profile devoid of smoke or peat.

The portfolio also expands to include two variants bottled at 43% ABV. These have a comparatively peat-driven, earthy profile. These new variants will feature a packaging with deep black palette, gold accents, and color differentiation.

A Growing Market Presence

Since its debut, The Glenwalk has expanded its footprints across eight Indian states, including Maharashtra. It works with 30 distribution partners today and has also entered select global markets such as the Middle East and Canada.

The launch follows a strong financial year for the brand, with reported revenues exceeding INR 200 crore in the Financial Year 2025-26.

The Maharashtra launch of the new Dominance variants by The Glenwalk is only the beginning. It is expected to plan a phased rollout strategy for this range. Currently, the brand plans to expand distribution to key markets like Delhi, Haryana, Goa, and Uttarakhand.
