Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) has introduced Corona Cero, a zero-alcohol version of its flagship Corona beer, in India. This launch aims to capitalize on the rapidly growing non-alcoholic beverage market in the country. Corona Cero promises the same crisp flavor, signature refreshment, and relaxing vibe as traditional Corona, but without any alcohol. Here’s everything you need to know about the recently launched Corona Cero.
AB InBev, the world's largest brewing company, said that over the past year, the Indian non-alcoholic beer segment grew by 25 per cent. Hence, the launch is a part of its wider strategy to expand its non-alcohol category in the country, as the segment is developing rapidly.
The bottle is priced at INR 120 per bottle; the price may differ according to the local taxes of the state, transportation costs, or even retailer margins. The product has been launched in Western and Northern markets. This includes Delhi NCR, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Goa. It will be available in modern trade outlets, select on-premise locations, and on e-commerce platforms. This distribution makes it accessible to everyday consumers seeking mindful drinking options.
Vineet Sharma, Vice President of Marketing and Trade Marketing at AB InBev India, mentioned that Corona Cero delivers the full Corona experience but is alcohol free.

Corona Cera debuted in Rajasthan from February 13 to 15 at the Magnetic Fields Nomads 2026 festival. It featured an innovative alcohol-free sunrise bar experience. This encouraged visitors to connect in a premium setting.
The brand increased its reach through a collaboration with popular singer Anuv Jain during his recent India tour. This move clearly blended music and mindful refreshment, which clearly appealed to health-conscious audiences. These activations highlight Corona Cero's positioning for versatile spots from festivals to concerts.
The launch talks about the commitment of the company towards innovation and also blending global expertise with local trends. Corona Cero in India, for now, is available as a single variant. This variant mirrors the classic Corona Extra's crisp lager taste with subtle citrus notes, but without alcohol.

The non-alcoholic portfolio of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) in India is smaller than its core beer portfolio. This is because they started just about 4 to 5 years ago. AB InBev India had launched Budweiser 0.0 before this with peach and green apple variants. The company is targeting the legal drinking-age consumers who are looking for a beer brand experience and taste, but without the alcohol.
Corona Cero, with its slowly increasing nationwide availability, is set to refresh India's beverage scene, and we are so excited.
