Soma Brut Cuvée: Price, Taste & Why It’s A Celebrate-Anytime Sparkling Wine

When celebrating a special occasion, every detail matters, from flowers to decor; each element is chosen with care, but the wine should be equally thoughtfully selected. If you're unsure which wine to choose, look no further than Soma Brut Cuvée, one of India's finest sparkling wines. Renowned as a celebratory wine, it offers exquisite quality and elegant bubbles, making it the perfect choice to elevate any special event and add a touch of sophistication to your festivities.

Soma Brut Cuvée: Celebratory Sparkling Wine

Soma Brut Cuvée is a premium sparkling wine from Nashik’s famous Soma Vine Village, which is crafted using 100% Chenin Blanc grapes. It is crafted using the traditional champenoise method, which brings in a beautiful aroma and adds complexity to the wine with refreshing notes of baked fruits and spicy undertones. It is known as a celebratory sparkling wine because of its fine bubbles and balanced acidity, making it perfect for celebrations and special occasions.

Soma Brut Cuvée: Winemaking Process

Soma Brut Cuvée is crafted at Soma Vine Village in Nashik using the authentic traditional method, which follows techniques similar to those used in the Champagne region of France. The process begins with careful selection and harvesting of 100% Chenin Blanc grapes. The grapes are then gently pressed to extract juice while preserving aromatics and minimizing oxidation using special equipment.

Then the initial fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to develop clean base wines. After blending, the wine is kept for secondary fermentation in the bottle, where yeast and sugar are added to create natural fizz. The wine is then matured for up to 1 to 2 years; this contact with yeast enhances its complexity and fine bubbles.

After aging, the bottles are riddled to remove the yeast sediment, then topped up and sealed for final maturation.

The palate is lively yet balanced acidity that provides freshness and structure, complemented by a smooth, creamy mousse resulting from extended bottle aging. Flavors of green apple, citrus, pear, and subtle tropical notes with undertones of brioche and biscuit together bring in an unforgettable drinking experience.
