Rampur Jugalbandi #7 is aged in ex-bourbon and Mizunara casks, blending American warmth with Japanese oak elegance. It offers a silky, layered experience with notes of tropical fruits, vanilla, honeycomb, sandalwood, green tea, and cherry blossom, culminating in a long, fun finish.
In contrast, Rampur Jugalbandi #8 combines ex-bourbon and sherry PX casks, presenting a bold, indulgent, dessert-like profile. It features opulent layers of dried fruits, fig jam, dark chocolate, orange peel, and warm spices, finishing velvety and full-bodied.
These two new expressions showcase the distillery's craftsmanship and the richness of flavors cultivated throughout the Jugalbandi journey.
They are likely priced around INR 9,000 to INR 11,000 per 750 ml bottle in India, reflecting their premium craftsmanship and limited availability.

Radico Khaitan's Rampur Jugalbandi series was inspired by the Indian classical art form of Jugalbandi, signifying a harmonious duet. It reflects the art form by blending different types of wooden barrels, called casks, to create rich and complex flavors in its whisky.
In this special method called "cask blending" or "cask finishing," the whisky spends time maturing in two different types of barrels. Over the years, as the whisky ages and interacts with the wooden barrels, chemical reactions occur. This includes extracting flavors from the wood with oxidation, which softens harsh notes, and evaporation, which concentrates flavors. The result is a whisky with layers of complex tastes and aromas that evolve.
The Rampur Jugalbandi series prides itself on using this blending art to deliver luxurious, well-rounded whiskies enjoyed by people around the world.
All expressions in the series were crafted at the historic Rampur Distillery, Asia’s oldest and largest distillery, with over 80 years of heritage.
Radico Khaitan is one of India’s oldest and largest Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) companies. It has a legacy beginning from 1943 and is widely known for its portfolio of premium brands.
The Rampur Jugalbandi series highlights the company’s ambition to position Indian whisky on the global stage with craft and luxury offerings. This launch is also aligned with Radico Khaitan’s strategy to expand its luxury portfolio, targeting revenue growth in this segment to approximately INR 500 crore in FY26, up from around INR 350 crore in FY25.
