Install the Swiggy Instamart App from the app store of your choice.
There is a “Wine Store” in the top corner of the app. Tap on it. There, you’ll be able to see the wine shops in your area.
The alcohol is organized by spirit on the top panel of the user interface. There is an upper limit on how much alcohol you can order in one go, and this limit differs based on the spirit. These limits also differ by region based on the alcohol laws in the area.
Before placing the final order, you need to verify your age via an official government identity document. You’ll be asked to take a picture of either your Aadhaar, PAN, or any other valid government documentation, and then you will have to upload a selfie proving that you are the one placing the order and not using someone else’s document as a proxy. This is an obvious legal and safety precautionary measure.
Once your identity has been verified, all you have to do is make the payment and wait for your delivery to arrive.

The feature is actually not that new. It was first launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, around May 21, 2020, to eliminate the hassle of going out to purchase alcohol. This particular facility debuted in Ranchi, Jharkhand, but was discontinued soon after when the alcohol laws changed.
It is important to note that you can only have alcohol delivered to private property and not at a public place. If the delivery location is a public place, the app will automatically reject your order.
Each category has an upper limit for the quantity you’re allowed to get in a single order. For the Alcopop category, you can order up to four liters in one go. For the beer category, you can order up to six liters. For other categories, which are Rum, Vodka, Liqueur, Champagne, Tequila, Gin, Wine, and Brandy, you can order up to five liters.
As of now, the feature is only available in Odisha and West Bengal. In places like Delhi and Bengaluru, the feature is seeing limited structural pilots. However, in dry states like Bihar and Gujarat, the feature will remain completely unavailable.
